FAQ

Do you make custom animations?

No, sorry :( I don't include toggle abilities like floating heart bubbles, blushing, flicking ears, and fluttering wings. Animations are not included in my package, as that's a whole other category of work.

Do you make furries or animals?

No, sorry :( It's impossible through VRoid, which only supports humanoids. Animal models must be created in an advanced 3D modeling software, such as Maya or Blender.

what accessories can you make?

It would be better to just ask me what you're looking for, as this depends on your model, tier, and overall complexity. But just so you have an idea,

I can makeFluffy animal ears, tails, dangle earrings, hair clips, neck bow, small neck tie, bracelets, chokers, arm & leg bands, wings, horns, some piercings, tattoos, and halos.

I can't make: things on the clothing that stick out from the base (clothing bows, 3d straps, buckles, etc), as they would all be painted. I also cannot change nail length. Better to ask me if this is confusing.

what clothing can you not make?

Again, it's better to ask me directly with a reference for your model, but due to the limitations of Vroid, I cannot make an open jacket with a shirt underneath, or a super fluffy dress/skirt. Vroid Studio does not support layering clothing. So if you would like an open-jacket, the shirt underneath will be painted to the body texture.

What is a Commercial Use License, and why do I have to pay for it?

This grants you a perpetual, exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide license to use the purchased delivery for Permitted Commercial Purposes. All intellectual property rights of the purchased delivery are hereby assigned to you. I charge the minimum $5 for this, so that the license is included in your order receipt for your records & protection.

What VTubing Software should I use?

This is all preference, but I recommend VSeeFace (free). The shaders in this program are compatible with Vroids, and it includes anti-aliasing (makes your model look smooth and un-pixelated). The lighting is dynamic and the expression hotkeys are easy to set up. It's also very stream-friendly in relation to Stream Labs OBS!

Other programs worth a mention are 3Tene (has poses and custom backgrounds, but no antialiasing) Free on Steam, and Luppet (expensive Japanese program but considered very good).

Do you make props?

Yes! I can create some handheld items for your model using Maya, for an additional fee. Please ask me first to see if I'm able to model your prop.

- The way this works is that I would give you 2 versions of your model: one with the prop, and one without. Props on Vroids are not toggle-able; you would just have to switch between the two. The arm(s) holding the prop would be frozen in a "key-frame", so I wouldn't recommended this if you use arm tracking (Leap Motion). 

How is the model rigged?

They are rigged with Spring Bones. You will have full & dynamic movement; including hair, face, bust, body, ear & tail physics, with leap-motion compatibility. I do not add extra bones to clothing.

Can I use my model immediately in VRChat?

No, sorry. The finished model I give is in a .vrm format, which can be used in some games (like Craftopia) and all 3D Vtubing software.

VR-compatibility requires the bones to be converted from Spring Bones to Dynamic Bones in Unity. Feel free to ask me how to do this, as I'm unable to do it for you (the Unity file does not share properly).
